Oh well. I can smell summer. That’s because I just took my bath and had used sunsilk summer fresh watermelon flavor.

Im hardly visibly today in my blog unlike before wherein I bombard this site with faulty writings. Haha. As you have seen above, lots of things to do and they are all due in a day. Haaayy life is so sweet.

Oh twas my berthday last march 14. Im officially sweet hehe!! Well another bittersweet year surpassed. Part of that bitterly sweet memory was my oral defense and I look and actually proved im such a loser big time! Well, it was unfair! We were the only group with a panelist who graduated cum laude in some school. She keeps butting in opinions and questions me as if I had been trialed for multiple murder. Waaahh!! What’s suppose to happen to my grade??

Im going to tell a story.

There was a girl named jacq and one morning she left the house so early she didn’t have time for breakfast. Good thing there was trusty old mcdo to help her fill in an empty stomach but there was one problem, there was no one she could invite to eat with her because in the first place she was with no one. While deciding whether to eat or not, her stomach rumbled and rallied begging for food. So without much ado she went in mcdo and sat alone. Alone wherein lots of people are sitting with someone else or is waiting for someone, something or whatever and she sat there all alone and feeling like a total loser.

After a million light years, she went up to the counter and said she wanted sausage mcmuffin. “one sausage mcmuffin please” the waitress said. Then she asked “what’s your drink mam?” the girl didn’t know what to say. She wanted some softdrinks but it’s way too early as it’s just 9 am. So she decided whether to have either coffee or hot choco. Since this girl is a coffee addict she said yes after another million light years to the waitress who again said “coffee mam?”. Problem two strarts as there was no coffee ready to be serve so the girl has to wait again.

Settling in her seat, she read what’s written in the paper of the food tray. Food facts. Okey and then the waitress appeared with her coffee and creamer and sugar and a paper whch says “coffee, red shirt.” So that’s how they’d recognize the girl who ordered coffee.

Okey then the girl open the creamer and sugar and the coffee itself to pour the side things then mixed it with the cute but thin mixer HAHA. Then she opened and ate her mcmuffin.

Here comes the fatal part, unaware that it is dreadfully and awfully hot, she drank the coffee, then all her senses and nerves in less than a second sped to her brains which shouted “HOT! HOT! HOT! ALERT! TONGUE IN 3RD DEGREE BURN STAGE!!” . and being the loner and loser girl she is, she still drank It regardless of any pain she is feeling right there and there. She just continued on with her burger and coffee without a care in the world but deep down inside she was shouting and crying “HOT! HOT! HOT! ALERT! TONGUE IN 3RD DEGREE BURN STAGE!!”.

Maybe it was her gluttony or maybe it was being a coffee addict but whatever it is the girl shouldn’t just went out without breakafast or maybe she should have just ordered softdrinks or maybe just maybe, she shouldn’t have went to mcdo to eat sausage mcmuffin with coffee.

The finish line

I was watching when I catch charmed’s commercial slash spoiler. Moreover, I was fascinated with its catch phrase.

The choice where you want to be is different from where you are made to be. But will decisions lead you to where you want to go?

Wala lang, just sharing. Food for thought “pagkain ng kaisipan”

When we talk of finish line, we often think of endings, consummation and conclusion right? But now all of that were changed when our parish priest who lead the mass on an ashy Wednesday said that finish lines would be where we had started. Yep, that’s reading it right wonderful friends of mine, the finish line would lead us back to where we have started.

One good exemplar is the alchemist by Paulo Coelho [im not so sure about the last name]. It tells the story of a boy (Santiago, whose name was only mentioned once in the entirerity [I coined the word] of the book) who searches for the greatest treasure of the world. He searched high and low only to find out that the ground beneath the place where he usually sleeps holds the treasure he had so long seek out. What’s the treasure? SECRET. Read it so you won’t ask me how did the story progress dummy!

There, I think one is a good enough example and that explains why the finish line is also the starting line don’t you think?.

I always found politics and our country’s economic crisis as the two most mind-numbing subjects I could ever write here in my humble blog. But now as manila is seized with great confusion and chaos, I think im ought to now react about what is happening to my country nowadays. Here’s a short article about it.

After watching “dekada 70” and reading a lot of books about martial law, edsa and NPAs, I found myself hoping I could somehow walk back into the past. I often wish that I could warp my 16 year old body and drag it to the pres. marcos period. I would like to experience how is it to be living in that time: Everyone’s afraid for their lives, media being controlled by the government, imposing hell curfews and the military aspect of Philippines In control.

I dunno but that is what I feel. Mom always find that idea ridiculous “you would never want to live in that time… you won’t stand it… you don’t know how it feels like to be there.” But I guess that is where im coming from. I don’t know but would want to. And then out of the blue, my prayers are answered.

After the stampede at ultra, the e-vat and coming r-vat, the st. Bernard tragedy here comes what I’ve been waiting for or something to that content.

Last feb. 24 president Gloria announced that we are in a state of emergency. This was supposed to be a celebration of the 20th anniversary of edsa and Gloria gave us all a very surprising present.

She said it was all the rallies and coup threats that made her arrive in her decision. Just the morning before my ball, the AFP had found papers stating of the plans of people or groups of it to destabilize the government and erap in the wee hours of the morning was forced by police to transfer places. Then different groups of people are gathering [anakbayan, haytt 10, magdalo etc] to protest and express their sentiments [that is for Gloria to step down] by mid afternoon, there was already a huge crowd and even politics biggies had joined the march going to the ninoy monument? Im not sure. However, police were on the opposite streets determined not to let them in and this was in ayala ave. I don’t know what happened next but the next day, some of the leaders of famous anti Gloria parties were being detained and/or chased. Even the daily tribune is now under the watchful eyes of the police for being too sharp-eyed to the administration.

Now what is all about this? Is it martial law period again? I think our situation is nearing that stage already and mom agrees. Well I believe her, after all she knows the tell tale signs cause she experienced it already. I seem excited about what is happening right now but also bothered since many people are affected in someway actually im changing that sentence, everyone is affected in someway.

Im just wondering how could she go out and still loiter pretending everything is all right and under control?. Maybe then it’s tactics, I mean no one in there right mind would admit that something’s wrong right? Coz that would imply that they are weakening and the people are right all along.

Hmmmmmmmm… just a thought
